Laptop display changed

Due to my dozy nature i must have done something to change the look of the screen and icons like on the older Classic look screen and everything else i see.
Went to play something on pc like a video when things changed as that video was stored on pc.

It was a glossy look before on W10 but now looks like the old XP faded / washed look

Any ideas of how to revert back please.

Just going through my settings as was on 1020 x 768 and now 1366 x768 with the restore and there was no other setting to choose on that old classic skin.

go to control panel system when there system protection then restore point and pick the date closest to when things changed

Yes thanks guys got it sorted just after lunch and fell asleep again.

One odd issue when using FaceBook and Messenger to send messages and view photos and they would enlarge to see a bigger version as normal

Since the reset the photos are blown up so large i cannot view them and see no option to shrink them down to normal viewing. This is on pc if someone sends a message or photo.

If i open Messenger on sidebar on Opera it works as normal .

Dora phone also shows normal size photo.

Thought i would ask for anything i can check.

have you tried actually setting the resolution on your monitor

On your pc when the images load too big, hold CTRL down on your keyboard and scroll down your mouse wheel to suit the size you want them to be.

As the FaceBook page is okay and displays normal and the PIP messenger to chat is normal size but clicking on the photo expands it way to much to not fit the screen.

That shrinks my FaceBook page down so much and then the next photo is massive. Tried on an older message and photo and its also massive.

Sidebar Messenger link works normal if i want to use that instead of FaceBook Messenger.

Just to add if i click on an image to open in a new tab its perfect size
Photo underneath is suppose to be a baby in the womb and this is what i see when i click on it.
