Kryptview A780 not picking up transponders

ive got 2 kv 780 working and just found out to find missing channels are they are over the place
sky sports main event was on gold. if you leave it in on power search mode over nightn all chanells will come in
but you have to edit the channels thats not working. If iget a chance i will do a chanell list this week.
The main thing you dont do is factory reset it cause the ABM does not work on this box
 
There is no abm on kv boxes and channel lists are different all round the uk with all them netids.
I have said if enigma2 boxes are working input those details into the kv and scan for those that listen:(y)::grin:
 
well cactikid the way to fix it is go into user preferance and edit sat and tp list
delete all channels until urs comes in to one of the four numbers
1 NTL
2EX-C&W
3CHORUS
4TELEWEST i deleted them all from the top till mine came up like below in number 4
Frequency 595.00
Symbol rate 6.652
Modulation 256 qam
saved it and scanned all chanells came in sorted !

Hi pal I'm new and unsure what you mean mine as been off 4 days doing same as your any help would be appreciated cheers
 
Hi mate i first found the problem when i factory reset it. But lucky enough i have 2 of the boxes so just hooked them up and
downloaded chanell data and all was well. But me that cant leave things alone i factory reset it again went the user preferernces and down to sat./tp edit
whatever network you are on 1-4 highlight it and press right cursor load tp list
Then from the top i deleted them one by one till i came to 595.00 6.952 256 and saved it
when back into scan and up comes the channels
what network are you on ?

Vm mate I'm clueless about this ha and telewest but not sure I delete them and it just deletes them all not sure what to put in cheers for getting back to me
 
when it comes to cam you move the curser abd ut changes itself to the on you want
I think this is the first time ive helped anybody get something right!

As kv box is only cable there is no sat list,qam can only be 64 or 256 in uk.The old kv video showed qam 64 which has changed in many areas to 256.
Make a note of what frequency you are using on the working box and write them down on a bit of paper stuck to box + qam as when you factory reset-blank mind comes to mind.Input those details into the manual search options and scan.
I would not be removing providers like chorus { irish side }tw,ntl etc.

That was how the litchfield fix was done as it was a new tp added and box not see it.
