I have trouble finding the HDMI socket upstairs.i really am getting that short sighted
Just get someone to plug a Fire Stick into it and you're good to go!
That's the problem with these flatter TV's we attach to walls, we can't get in behind them to plug stuff into them any more, bring back the tubes I say !! LOL

Ask Caron or one of the kids Stuss.

Also to add to that, the speakers in these new tvs are shocking, I had to buy a sound bar, not what u want when your spending a decent amount of money on a new TV

Now i've been trying some local streams, or atleast ones that claim to be, but VLC on PC still shows them all at 25FPS. The SS channels are 5Mb-10Mb bitrate and the BT are 10Mb-20Mb. Does that look right?

Someone said they were 9000 kbps bitrate..
Might get deleted.. 😆🤣
Yeah 9Mbps on SS seems to be what im getting from ones i tried.
So my current non "local" provider already has 5Mbps 25FPS using G**b* so technically wouldnt these 50FPS streams be the same quality since FPS doubling requires double bitrate which works out around 10Mbps... unless they were encoded in h265/hvec which i doubt

alot of providers/sources have changed their codec to hevc265 so quite possibly

Well the ones i tried are h264 so either people are smoking something saying these are better quality or i've just been done and got someone pretending they're raw /uncompressed feeds when they're not.

Jeez, don't start all that again :tearsofjoy:

Same here... when @Boag @mike123 and others come on posting about technical specifications it both impresses and bamboozles me :tearsofjoy: Fortunately with these raw streams the naked eye is enough to know they're everything they claim to be.
Got to stop agreeing with me 😆
Had this conversation a few months ago same thing as here, so I'm out of this thread before I get b.... just glad people found them and will enjoy them for as long as they last...

Ps play nice.....

What kind of bitrate do these uncompressed streams have? 20Mbps?
I would say at least. More when

There are not loads of suppliers at the moment.

Unscientific test on Enigma2, the bitrate varies depending on action.
So a kind of eyeball average using SS Cricket.
FHD 25p approx 5-8Mbps
FHD(R) 50i approx 10-15Mbps
Seems to be about 18Mbps on the football when panning
