How to delete photos iphone 8

Does anyone have a guide on how to delete photos on iphone 8 but not to delete them automatically on linked ipad?

Step 1: Go to Photos > Albums on your iPhone 8/8 Plus/X.

Step 2: Choose the album you want to delete photos from.

Step 3: Tap on Select and choose the photos you want to get rid of.

Step 4: Click the Trash icon and then choose Delete Photos to remove the photos from your iPhone
