I had WhatsApp on old Redmi 9AT phone and had to get a newer DORA phone , when setting up new phone i lost all older messages on old phone and Laptop.

I have logged back in on old phone to get photos and messages on it but trying to get clearer photos from it.

Does anybody know of a way i can get clearer images i can use as just photoed them on new phone but need them clearer.

I dont see / or missed something to copy it if anybody knows a way thanks.

You should backup your chats first on your old device

Setting -> Chat -> Chat backup

Setting -> Chat -> Transfer chats

I would imagine, the pictures will only be as good as the phones resolution. I've a Honor phone, and pics are great, but if I transfer them to my partners phone, not as good, and visa versa.

Can you get into your old phone to email them to yourself, or get them onto a sd card then put them onto your computer?

You should backup your chats first on your old device

Setting -> Chat -> Chat backup

Setting -> Chat -> Transfer chats

It says it transferred them but not seeing them yet . Any special place i should look as have images in Google Photos which might have been done at an earlier time.
I have downloaded WhatsApp for windows might give me more extras

Yes can get into old phone but not seen a way to email anyone or myself as could be missing the obvious.
No sd card in that phone as it always had card issues.

Somehow i was able to add a second email to send files to it rather than myself as phone kept on getting more notifications.

9 files with dates must be needing to be extracted with a program to view as 2 of them i got errors and mention Google Drive and dont think i ever used that YET.

Progress is slow. Cheers

Up on desktop doing more paperwork and needed a Zip extractor and moved to Google Drive for some unknown reason but i now can see what i need.
Viewing restored.
