Hi just wondering has anything changed in the new LG OLED TVs like getting third party apps on it?

And also has LG stopped updating the old OLED TVs?

I have 2024 model and it runs webOS.
All TVs will stop receiving updates at some point.
I read somewhere that the model I have will receive updates for around 5 years.

I have the 2021 model I think my one has stopped receiving updates because I been checking since last year and this year nothing either so they must have stopped updating this model.

Has the new LG OLED TVs got a AppStore built in? Because I seen it somewhere but not sure where.

Yes it has an AppStore that can be accessed from the Home Screen called apps.

Is it possible to get a AppStore on a 2021 model myself?

Also I have read somewhere that devices with internet they can be jailbreak by anyone.

I would think you have LG AppStore already because how do you install apps on the tv?

I don’t fully understand the second part of your post.

Is it the same AppStore like the iOS one or a different one on your 2024 LG?

If your last year model has iOS AppStore my LG hasn’t got it anywhere.

It has LG webOS App Store as do all LG TVs.
iOS is for Apple products.

I've got a lg c9 from 2020 and I don't think it's received an update in a long time, I'm not too fussed as I had no issues with it and I use a shield pro for apps.

You have ibo player Installed on your LG tv so you must have accessed the built in app store. I also thought you didn't fancy putting 3rd party apps on your TV eg Kodi.
