if you press the record button and select Add Autotimer it shouldn't be taking you to another screen, it should just be adding a weekly autotimer. If you press the red button it should give you 4 options (IMDB Search, Add Timer, Add Autotimer, Search) and selecting 'add autotimer' should then take you to the 'Import autotimer' screen.

What build was you using before grogbuild? I wonder your previous build had different button setup which is being restored when you restore your settings
 
If I press the red record button and select add autotimer, it sets a timer for Thursday only no other days, but is also setting Big Cats to record as well. If I press the red button, it’s taking me import autotimer screen with 5 green tick boxes. I was using Whooshbuild but installed Grogbuild via USB this morning.
 
I have installed the latest grogbuild 10-01-2017), I notice that there are to areas that contain the oscam.server twice in the build in folders oscam_atv and oscam_atv_emu. I've tried putting my line in both oscam,server and I get timed out so I've had to go back to mgcamd for my line to work. Can anyone give me any pointers? I've never used oscam before and I would like to be able to use it as it has useful log features. Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)
 
The reason for both is that when I installed Oscam on my box with a VM Superhub 3 I was getting unable to resolve host errors in the oscam logs, so I tried oscam_emu and it worked fine. both do the same thing basically so I left both on there.

Does your provider allow Oscam connections? I don't know why but some providers do not.

If the box shows the time on the led then the chances are it's not getting a signal.

Is the box responsive to the remote? ie if you enter 101 on the remote do the numbers appear on the screen? do you get a picture after entering 101 (BBC 1 SD)

Hi thanks for your help ive sorted box out it needed a new line
 
EPG Guide, doesn't give you the option to create a weekly recording, have to press record button, select add timer, then press record on the highligher timer again then select edit time to get around this. On the second epg listing for the single channel press the green button to add timer where you can select the frequency of how you want it recording.

What box? if you highlight the program and then press the red button you should see the option to 'add Autotimer', you can then change any of the settings for that timer. If you highlight the program and oress the record button you should then have the option to add autotimer and that just creates a weekly timer

It's a fault with the Metrix Skin, the red button doesn't seem to work on this skin on your build. All the other skins on your build work OK so I've just changed the skin. You might at some point want to rectify the red button on the Metrix skin. Thanks for a great build....
 
Looking for a bit of help, I was using dreamplayer on my phone earlier while the wife was watching her shite, all of a sudden my phone stops playing and box freezes on what she's watching.Hard Reset the box to find it stuck on grogbuild startup image (after going from 1-99) displaying the clock but totally unresponsive, left for 5 mins to no avail. So I then hard reset the box again and left it for 10 minutes this time, same problem grogbuild image on screen, clock on led but with spinning circle in top left corner (very slowly spinning though, not like usual)

what channel was being watched by you and your wife? does the box respond to the remote, ie if you enter 101 do the numbers show on the screen.
 
Little update, reconnected box last night and all booted up fine, watched tv for an hour or so and went to bed, woke up to the box froze on the channel I was on, rebooted again this morning and just get this on the screen with no remote response

Edit:- got back from school run, rebooted, came on finev1st time, is it worth doing an online update or should I re flash?

When did you last flash the box? I created a build using the latest nightly atv on 10th Jan so you could reflash.

I just googled that error message as I've not seen it before and the first reference to it on an enigma2 based box was on a vix image but likely to be the same on atv which the build uses and the reason given for it was the root space was full 100%, ie you have no internal memory left. This could also explain the freezing issue you had. I would check the following:

1. your usb stick is mounted on /media/hdd
2. your epg is stored on /media/hdd
3. your timeshift settings use the path /media/hdd/timeshift
4. your recording settings use the path /media/hdd/movie

If your usb stick is not mounted as above then the other three settings will store internally anyway and use up the little internal space there is

Last time I reflashed was for the Audio Description fix, will check all paths when I'm home but I'm just going to re flash and set everything as new anyway cheers

Hey. Hope everyone is well. Does anyone know why when I fast forward a recorded programme, sometimes it causes the box to freeze and then I have to switch it off from mains and then even then it sometimes freezes when it' loading up. I'm using the zgemma h2h
 
hi guys, very simple one here I think.
Very happy with the grog build just trying to tweak a few things to suit. I selected main and hd bouquets to scan but I would like to know how to permanently remove some bouquets (like shopping, international for eg) from my listings. Tried using bouquets editor in webif but it keeps refreshing and returning them all, I'm sure there was a bouquets deselect option somewhere? Thanks in advance.
