Can I change the transponder in my settings or do anything in the menu to achieve the channels again?

There's alternatives for some channels but some channels have gone completely and unlikely to ever return... SS4 and SS5, SS News, EuroSport 1 and 2, Disney channel and the +1, Disney junior and the +1, disney XD and the +1 plus a few more are all totally unavailable on cs satellite.
