Guys a working method that cannot be stopped by Google is to pay for the subscription via the Apple app store.

Do these things on a desktop:

prerequisite: You need an e-mail address that is different from the one you are using for your Apple account. So make one at mail.google.com or mail.yahoo.com if you don't have another one yet.

1. Create a new Apple account with a different e-mail address than the Apple account you are currently using and with India as a country (you can just use your same phone number, doesn't matter which country it is) Apple Music Web Player => sign-in. And enter your alternate e-mail, no phone number necessary.
2. Buy an Apple Store card with Indian rupees here App Store Code you can login with any Amazon account. I recommend using something like Revolut to pay since the conversion rates are much better so choose to pay in Rupees at checkout. ₹5000 will cover you for the year.
3. Now on your iOS device: go to Settings ->Apple Account (so your name is on the top). Then tap "Media & Purchases -> Sign Out" Then again "Media & Purchases -> Not [your name]?" and sign in with the Indian account
4. To redeem your code go to the App Store app => tap your profile picture (top right) => "Redeem Gift Card or Code" and enter your code.
5. Now go to the Youtube app and sign up for Premium and you will see the Indian prices. You don't even need to use a different YouTube account, you can just use the one you always use.
6. Then once signed up go to "Settings->Apple Account->Subscriptions" And you can see your YouTube subscription, you can even change plans in here.
7. Then go back to "Settings->Apple Account->Media & Purchases" and Sign out and sign back in again with your regular Apple Account. And you're done. Don't forget to top-up your Rupees with a new code in iTunes on your desktop or in the App Store

I've actually done this myself and it works!!
Although it should be mentioned that Apple charges more for Google services.

Family YTP is 159.99try on playstore (Turkey) but 209.99try on app store.
For me, it's still worth it though

Have you set youtube to run through the vpn. Albania working fine no adds here, with Surfshark.... Paul

Used to pay in Argentinian currency - that stopped for me also… once you’ve used YT premium, it’s hard to go back basic… need to look into this again sap

im using revanced and it seems pretty good , and its free

Yh i have now switched my s24 ulta for revanced by default. Sony TV switched to smart tube. Car android system switched to revanced. Only part i am screwed is my LG tv where i get the ads. So annoying.

Another annoying featuer is casting to my tv from revanced to my TV doesnnt work and still get ads. I can cast to smart tube but sometimes it loses the link and i have to pair it again.

I miss paying the 1 pound somothing using VPN way

Guys, just to advise - I went down the Gamsgo route for the family membership. Worked for two days then not working, saying being fixed now, that was two weeks ago!
Glad I only did the 6 months, money lost.........

Oh wow. Guess it was always going to be a scam.

I keep saying use the method I posted above. You can do this yourself and have full control. Also as the payment is processed by Apple, Google have no way of knowing you are not in the country. Works out at £3.67 for the family membership per month.

I took it out for 6months as well got an email a couple of weeks ago that there was a problem and then another email 2minutes later saying it is fine again and then an email from google welcoming me back to youtube.
I have changed my auto renewal from 6months to 12 for next time for me it works well.
