General advice about the buzz TV

Hi everyone,

I'm abit comfused about the Buzz TV. I currently have a firestick which i find is crap and unreliable im guessing its down to the spec.

I do have a couple of questions about the Buzz TV.

I am right by thinking this is still IPTV but using there own app, im just wondering is it the same as the Tiviapp or is it loads better.

my other question is if I buy the box does a subscription come with it or is this sold separately. I am currently looking at the X5 super sport but I'm unsure where to get this from. do i self maintain the boxes firmware and playlists for the channels myself.

my last question is I'm a big rugby league fan and on on my current IPTV, I can never get the games on since they've swapped to Sky sports plus red button, i have the channels but there is only adverts on the channels and the tv guide for this section never works. Would this be the same on Buzz TV?

sorry about all the questions, I just want to make sure I have everything right before buying.

Many thanks Kudos123

The buzz devices are generally very good, no there isn't any sub or channels included, you have to purchase a sub from a provider.
The rugby league games are all shown, not on sky sports + channel but they will be in the rugby section if your provider has one, or in the generic 'sports' section

Yeah they do look gotta be better than the firestick.

Ahh okay I didn't realise it was just an andriod box make, cheers for the advice. I'll have a look at other options than iptv.

Millions of people use a firestick for iptv and don't have many problems, it sounds more like a provider issue than a device problem given that parts of the EPG don't work and missing channels etc.
If I were you I would be trialling different providers before shelling out for new devices

Just about to order one of these boxes. Looking at the new remote , disappointingly , for me anyway, a few of the function buttons from previous models have been removed. Specifically related to the Default iptv app , B5 ? I think its called. No , movies or tv shows or groups button or even favs button. That "menu" button 3rd down on left , anybody know if it opens the menu for the streaming app ? so maybe it gives access to the above buttons I listed ?
Also the 4 coloured buttons , can they only be programmed to open other apps , or could they be set to open the options I listed ?

The white/blue Buzz tv 5 button in the centre opens the default iptv player

I don't know, I've not got that remote, but the menu button on mine opens the main screen, YouTube, other players, Teamviewer, networks, app library, settings, and everything else. You can access the default player from here too, the blue/white button is just a shortcut really

Has yours got a "home" button , I would expect the home button to do what you just described your menu button doing ?

@pabloescaban , sorry to keep harrassing you , but could you answer another important question for me please. I have a formuler z10 with MOL2 as the iptv player. I have 3 subs on it , however if I want to switch from one sub to another , the target sub has to load everything from scratch , which if it has vod as well , can take 3 or 4 mins. When you switch , the original sub is disconnected and remains dormant. So switching back , the app has to then load that sub duh. Now with their newer boxes , running MOL 3 , all subs remain live and you can switch and play a channel more or less instantly. The Buzz TV , does it do what MOL3 does , or is it MOL2 ?
Deal breaker for me this.

Christ knows, mines an older device so it won't have MOL3
