Formuler z11 pro max advice

(apologies for the lengthy post)

I'm looking to update my set up from firestick. Had a look around and came across the z11 pro max which ticks all the boxes I need.
Trying to plan ahead, I contacted my iptv provider asking if they would be able to provide the logins I need for Mytvonline when the time comes (it's through a friend of a friend who installed his own app on it and the only details I know are a username and password). He said he couldn't do this but he could try installing his app on the formuler and that I would struggle to find a provider who supports this kind of set up now. I'm against this idea as the app isn't very good and I've seen my the formuler in action and it looks excellent.

Is there any truth in this, is it more difficult to find a service for this device? or is this guy just trying to keep me locked to his service?

Defeats the purpose of buying a Formuler because its MYTvOnline that makes it, and you need to be using that.

I get that mate. If my provider can't give me the credentials to use it I would look elsewhere. Was just curious as to if there was any truth in what he said about finding providers to support this set up.

Some dont like to give out ther url, it leaves them open to blocks, attacks etc.

Say you want Xtreme codes login to use your own app.

I have a Formuler Pro Max 11 and I use Tivimate, as I dislike MyTVOnline. I don't like the way it functions and it also stops me using my LG TV remote control - as it requires at least one button on the Formuler remote to go back up one level. I don't want to have more than one remote control to watch TV.

As others have pointed out, if your current supplier is forcing you to use their app, then find another supplier.

I'm a noob to the IPTV scene and just bought the Formuler Pro Max 11 and using mytvonline3 app ... done 1 trial so far, and I would definitely not bother with suppliers that insist on using their proprietary app. The whole beauty of mytvonline is that you can utilise one or more suppliiers, and add other links you find. I am so done with using all kinds of different apps, and ready to go back to the simplicity of a Sky TV style TV guide with everything in one place.

Exactamundo! Completely and utterly does my head in skipping between apps.

Half the fun of a chill day is just kicking back on the sofa with the remote and channel surfing. Not mucking about with a million apps and their goofy proprietary UI's.

Getting to the TV guide on the NOW TV apple tv app - stuff of nightmares. You pay a bomb for these services, and then get discouraged because of the naff UI.
