Fish masla is nice on naan bread with yoghurt mint sauce and onion salad.
Agree its not spicy but if done correctly has some really nice flavouring to it

Not had fish masala on its own not gona lie lol.

Masala fish with nan and salad is delicious as well but I prefer the unhealthy option by having chips lol.

But your right if the right amount of spices are applied it's delicious. But not every chippy can make it right.

One thing that I hate with normal fish and masala fish is some chippys apply such thick batter that you hardly taste the fish. Has to be thin layer imo to have the perfect tasty fish.

I've never had even close to decent chips in England.
Even my English missus couldn't believe how much better food was in Ireland, take away or sit in, and chips are NOT meant to be crispy,!!!!
Good Maris Piper, blanched, then deep fried in dripping (oil will do if at home) , perfect,
Blanching is critical to get the starch out.

Off to Elland Road to watch some live footy Sunday.

Anyone who has will of experienced Gravley's Fish and Chip across from the ground. There not bad at all.

Looking forward to em how sad is that.
 
2 kilo fresh haddock, off the boat 5.00am this morning,gutted and filleted and delivered to me in ice 3.00 pm from 65mls away. Now cut into plate size portions, 1 on my plate now absolutley georgeous.rest in freeser £32.00 15 Portions.. cheap quality meals or what? Delivered every 8 wks:laughing:(y)

Not big fan of haddock but sounds delicious and is fresh as they come.
