Ear / hearing issue

I noticed last few days right ear sound was getting muffled and harder to hear things and woke up this morning with a very hot pillow and was sleeping on my right side.
I had a very hot shower and used my earbuds to dry out my ears and came out very yellow.
Have to make an appointment with doctor to get ears looked at and possibly syringed.

Anybody else have it done and was it okay.

Always had issues with my ears , had them syringed, micro sucked loads of times , had to stop putting earbuds in as just made issues worse.
One month wait down here in the Docs,
OH had hers done yesterday, been deaf for about 3 months , and had been putting olive oil in. syringed all good now

Be prepared for a wait if it's like here. Put drops in to soften the wax

Father in law has it done regular privately think it’s about £30 if the wait is too long

My ears don't produce wax, at all, I have a type of eczema in my ears, like very dry, itchy skin which is open to infections. Wax has a purpose, to waterproof them.
If I take a bath or go swimming, I've got an infection within days. Only way around it is to flush bathing/sea water out with fresh water immediately. If I put a Q-tip in my ear it sounds like crackly, rough surface

I have to hope he can do something when i visit as need other issues looked at also and have a medical card.

Hope i might get a new blood test done for Thyroid issue as was not informed when taking the meds i need to wait for it to work.
Waiting 1 hour now before eating.

Yep you can get specsavers I think to come out about £40.

Yes it's alright get some earwax remover treat for 2 weeks and have hot showers it will certainly softern

Well if its just compacted wax then you will need to put a few drops of olive oil in until Friday , whether she syringes them is another matter . Is it just to let the nurse have a look or actually unblock them?

Dont think its compacted as of yet after every hot shower i use Q tips to dry out the ears and some wax removes also and hearing has improved so dont think its compacted .

Wow dont think its worth me buying one as not needed a cleaning in 65 years. Maybe if i used my Sauna high temp would liquefy it?

Best you get yourself checked before doing any self treatment, apart from the drops. The hot pillow would suggest that you have an infection and the high temperature is your body fighting the infection. The yellowness if wet is also signs of an infection.

No, they're great. Waterproof too. I use it in the shower.
