Just tested and working fine, can you confirm it was enigma2-plugin-extensions-dsayers-piconupdater_0.2_all.ipk that you installed?

It looks like the script hasnt downloaded can you FTP \home\root and see if you see SNP_Picon_Updater.sh.

Yes all downloaded using the supplied link. However, the script does not appear to be in the \home\root folder
 
Shouldn't be needed anymore but can you try to update wget, download this

Unzip it and FTP run-me-first.sh to:

Openatv usr/script

OpenVix usr/scripts

To run the script OpenATV Menu > infopanel > plugins > Jobmanager

OpenVIX Menu > setup > vix > script-runner

Highlight Run-me-first.sh then press ok to run

Then try the plugin again.

Can you confirm what image and version you are using? When I released latest plugin I tried various images dated around April this year and that script wasn't needed maybe older images still need it, ill add a note to first post.

Sorry for the late reply, ive just uploaded new picons but I haven't had chance check if those picons are there can you check please.

I've been using 0.2 for aaaages on openatv 6.2.
Upgraded to 6.3 and the plugin appears to not work.
I just get 2 sentences straight after each other.
Execution in progress
Execution finished.

I've tried the seperated ikp's for the 1.2 version.
That went through the mill I'm used to.
Cleared up existing picons etc etc.
(Which it has) but actually fails to download any new ones.
I've literally lost them all right now.
For reference I did also try the run me first script. Same results
 
For atv 6.3 probably best manually downloading and installing them from

I need to get round to sorting my scripts on atv 6.3 but I haven't had chance to get round to it.

Hi do you know how to use terminal or putty? If so would you like to try a test?

Copy and past this command in terminal/telnet

Let me know if that works.

Also if anyone else on ATV 6.2 or OpenViX can test the above command let me know if that works. Thanks
 
H52tc openatv 6.3 mymetrix hd cable and sky.

every time I run nightly updates it deletes the plugin, even though I select backup and flash and then save settings and plugins is there any way to stop this ?
 
Why are you flashing? Do software updates.

Plugins will only restore that are on feeds or I think hdd but you don't need to flash daily try doing regular software updates then flash every couple of months.
 
Hi

I have the latest build of Openvix (5.2) and am using updater v0.3
This worked fine previously downloaded and picons as it should.
I ran the updater last week and it ran through what seemed the normal process on screen but it deleted all the picons from my usb.

Any advice on how I can fix this please?

I think last week there was some issues but it should be sorted now.

If it isn't working what picons script are you running SNP or SRP picons?
