does anyone know anything about POS software?

ok, our daughter has an inherited till system in her bar.

it is basically a touchscreen windows pc with a till drawer and thermal printer.

the software that runs on it to use it as a till system needs removing and windows reinstalling so there is no trace of the previous software

has anyone used any free / patched / hacked POS software personally and have a source for the download?

the majority of stuff out there is subscription only but there must be some free options surely?

doesnt need to be cloud based as there is no net at the bar location

there is also Chromis – Free Open Source Point of Sale Software I like the look of that one more

chromis looks like it might be worth a play with as we have a spare windows pos terminal, buggered if i can find a windows install package for it though

EDIT - found it right in front of my eyes looking forward to having my lense replacement surgery sooner rather than later
