It's like they've got a policy against VPNs. Which is annoying because Virgin is typically blocking iptv during EPL matches. But I've got a cheap Ali backup to my cheap Ali backup that works fine with vpn on 😂. Can't fault the Ali accounts. I typically use them for news channels and sports events now and then. I'd still love to know which Ali providers have you all are using as I'd like one that functions properly with vpn connected - I need to buy an account for a family member.

Well like bazz says if you are genrally happy stick with it.

You are not going to get the best or many options for the price you pay.

Like pup says they are good for backups or for holiday. I don't think anybody uses for main sub. UK providers you don't genrally need a VPN in most cases.

I agree. The AliExpress ones are hit and miss but the ones I've tried from AliBaba are a lot better.
There are far fewer sellers on AliBaba and more likely to have been on there for a while.

On the plus side, if you have problems and pay by PayPal you're very likely to get your money back if you're not happy. You just have to be vague about what you're not happy with.
Don't mention IPTV, just say the service you bought isn't working properly and the seller isn't responding. (which is usually the case anyway).
 
Does anyone have a link to an Aliexpress or Alibaba provider that they are happy with? Need to get an account for my grandma and don't want to spend too much. Feel free to DM me if you can.

You may find you will have to edit the playlist and some may not have all the channels you expect.

They are ok for a backup but wouldn't use as a main server. If you need support or issues could also take longer.

The one I found on Alibaba is as good as any out there.what you will find is most of them have more than one service they sell so keep asking for a trial of all the services they do.

Yeah I don't need one as main service. My gran just watches the odd tennis game here and there. Buying a £50 to £90 service for her is unjustifiable. Just need something that has a good chance of working for a couple of hours when tennis matches are on.

Yeah I do the trials but sometimes the trials are great and then when you eventually get to using the service in the long term it's iffy. So I was hoping someone had a reliable provider they've found stable over the longer term. Pretty funny though, the one provider on Aliexpress is now offering 24 month accounts

Would be interested myself for backup
 
There's quite a few sellers on Ali offering 3,6,12 or 24 month subs, you just have to search different terms and scroll down a bit.

It's difficult to offer recommendations as you can't say that a good backup for me will be a good backup for you, but at £4 for 3 months it's throwaway money so probs best to just pick one and try it. The last 3 month sub I bought there lasted 4 months.

This is the best advice in the thread - all sellers on alibaba have multiple reseller panels they sell and I’ve also got my grandparents set up on one that’s been extremely reliable for nearing on 3 months now

Never said I myself was happy with it, used it a little myself and decided it was fine for my Granda who just watches the golf when it’s on and he’s not had any problems however I came here for a service specialising in prem games that will be used a lot more in my uni house. Is that not the point of the forum… mind you I’ll still probably have one of the Ali servers as a backup because nothings perfect. Also wouldn’t be surprised if a good half the people in my inbox are just reselling the same service for double the price

Well now I don’t know whether to steer clear of the few in my inbox who seem to be decent. It is fairly frustrating paying a fiver for entry to a forum where no decent provider will message you.
