Box crashing when i press menu

Anyone any ideas why i keep getting an error message and box crashing when i press menu?

When this has happened to me it's been a skin or plugin problem, i would start removing the last thing you installed.

Cheers mate thats what i thought as i had it happen with q skin. Its not my box its my mates and he says he doesnt know of anything hes installed :(:(:(
