have you downloaded official firmware from the Blade site? if so then you'll need to download patched firmware which you can get in the downloads, the 9991 secret menu only works with patched firmware and have you got a sub line for the pay channels, as you'll need it to upload to the box or I think you can do it manually through 9991 menu

Hi I have a blade 5000s I downloaded the blade firmware from blade and have followed the tutorial above but when I try to upgrade image part of setup it comes up with read error. I have the FTA channels and I have a cline code but how do I get this in to the box?

For 9991 press menu and then enter 9991.

You need the 2 ini files and edit and put your line in

Hi Ron, can you help me please, I've downloaded the 2 files. How do I put the line details in the configure file? Then do I put the USB stick in the blade box and will it update my box and add my new line. I am sorry to sound stupid, but I am scared of f**king the box up. Would appreciate if you could give me some of your time and guidance please?
