Best budget streaming device?

I'm looking for a budget iPTV streaming device for for my mum that is 4k compatible, reliable, discreet and simple to use.

I use the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 4k but am unsure of the best budget option with 4k, any help or assistance much appreciated.

To be honest not much beat a Firestick 4k max in the £50 bracket you can get them for at the moment.

Amiko do some decent budget end Android boxes.

Nothing beats the fire stick 4k max at the price it's at currently. I would recommend not getting anything lower than the 4k models as the latency and lag is annoying.

Thanks all, took the plunge with the 4k Max, reviews state a far snappier processor. A no brainer for the price difference.

Netflix load times......1.38 seconds on 4k max compared to 20 seconds on the 4k

Surely there's no reason whatsoever to get that at over £80 vs the 4k max on offer at £45 currently.

Genuinely interested in the argument against 4k max, remote is irrelevant to me and I've a wifi 6e router.

What else does it improve on.

Mate of mine bought a couple from Aliexpress and has had no issues.
I have bought devices from Aliexpress in the past and had no issues.
Not sure what the difference is with devices from there other than the price.
Obviously if something goes wrong the return process is more complicated.

Yep the Z mini are decent devices also.
Don't get why people always go for firesticks when better devices on market
