sorry to ask but when i back up my image does it also save my line thanks for any advice

With out any box details
but most will everything that is on the box
excluding HDD, sd card or USB stick

If your line is active in a file (in use) which I presume it is, yes, it will save that file and every other file on the system
Its like taking a snap shot of everything (image)

yes it will save your line, if you do a restore it will be as before.

Always best to keep line details safe elsewhere.
