Are we stuck with VPN use forever?

Ive just taken the plunge and ditched Sly for Voda, im a bit nervous though as been with Sly a very long time over 12 years, but have had enough of this VPN business, causing me grief, i know it's not guaranteed that won't need it on Voda soon but for now i will be happy without.
Please no one tell me how bad they are as the minimum term is 24 months

You could cancel with the first week I believe without being tied in long term if your not happy mate.

You have to bare in mind ALL ISPs traffic manage/throttle be it peak times or whenever even more so now where most are at home. They have to make sure every one has their fair share of the net.

Fair point mate our infrastructure for broadband can't handle the demand and isp do reduce speeds between certain times of day

If they work out you are using IPTV they will throttle your speeds

Cheers yes understand, this but if I'm honest sky not been that bad lately, mainly weekdays footy which I might put up with if voda is gonna be no different.
What a headache this is I wanted a service better then what I have without spending double thought I had found it but now reading online seem voda do but can't see too much about it.
Don't know what to do my service doesn't start until 22nd this month.
Few said was OK after using their own router which I always do. I have a netgear D6400 currently which has been greatly.

My parents use Netflix and my dad watches loads of youtube videos. They even throttled there speeds. They went to sly broadband and have had no problems

It does suck with them throttling speeds more than ever now I tend to see it more peak times than any other time of the day. Sometimes can be dreadful and other times not that bad when they throttle.

They will never admit to doing it either cheeky buggers.

Ahhhh now do I better the devil you know with sky or risk 2 years with devil you don't.
Love to know what the average iptv users all use and get half decent results, I can only get max 70mb where I located so no Virgin lightning for me.
Think I will call them to cancel tomoz, don't think I can risk it.

Ye few selles selling their own VOD apps with the high quality premium links works brilliant tbh.

But they dont use RD but premiumize for the links. As RD is IP locked so gather premiumize easier for them to get links for their VOD app.
had not heard of them selling vod apps but one of my providers supplies app as vod backup you login with your sub details and it has premiumize enabled.

I use VM before that i used BT. never had a problem with throttleing to be honest with either. Talktalk are pretty good aswell until you have to get in touch with customer service. The trouble is if you stay away from BT and use sly, talktalk, plusnet and others you can be disconnected for a while if something goes wrong because they don't like sending out openreach engineers as it costs them evreytime.
