Apple TV

I was never a Apple fan, I do not have any Apple devices in my home, and for some crazy reason (no nvidia shields are available to buy), so I got myself a Apple TV 4k and hot damn it is a nice change.

The main difference I feel between it and other cheaper android devices, except the price of course, is the way Apple is running the apps in the background.
There's no freaking delay when switching between apps, as they are running in the background. You know, like opening PLEX for the forth time and waiting as your library is huge AF (thanks android).
Which could be a learning curve for non apple users as I found out that when I exit my IPTV app with the Home Button (Android Practice), the stream was still running in the background, which is funny as there were no sounds or indications.

Long story short, the Apple TV looks like its stuck in 2010, when it comes to design, but it works flawlessly. And of course, every single app costs or is a insane subscription. But when you think about it, if you have money for that device, you probably have money for the apps. Not sure, looks and feels like a Apple mindset.

Anyways, back to apps:
SWIPTV
(+) UI UX is the best, definetly one of the best apps I have ever used including TiviMate.
(-) It's not cheap, once upon a time there was a lifetime licence, but yeah, there's none anymore :)

IPTVX
Can't say anything really about it except that it didn't sit with me well, for some reason idk <3

UHF - decided on this one
(+) Cheap, there is a lifetime price which is acceptable
(+) Looks good with some small issues
(-) The decision behind the usage of COLORs in this app is maybe a great IDEA or concept, but in reality it's a shitshow. 70% of the TV logos are almost invisible in the TV Guide as it gets the logo color and puts it as a background
(-) It's missing a lot of settings that you would expect to be customizable, Appereance, Default Screen Selection etc.
I paid for TiviMax on Apple TV but prefer UHF, never heard of SWIPTV , will have to google it.

I paid for Tivimax! Tried to get my money back lol! There Discord site is one long complaints thread,The support is abysmal and it's impossible to contact the developer.
UHF is a much better app allowing open source of player. You would be lucky to get one of Tivimax players to perform half decent

SWIPTV looks amazing. I'm going to download the 1 month sub today just to check it out. I will say I was super disapointed with TiviMax but it seems to be getting better lately. Definitely better than it was.... so at least they're improving. As stated above, UHF is probably the best of the bunch in my opinion for what I've used.

Damn , just downloaded that SWIPTV , saw the Infuse icon and thought oh great , finally an app I can add my plex to , so movies and series alongside IPTV . But , spoke too soon , you can change the player to infuse , not add your content duh. Nice looking interface , now going to see hwat they want for pro, I bet its expensive

Yeah it's not cheap. I don't remember what they wanted... but it wasn't cheap. I did try it out for a month and do like it though.

I feel like a better price point would probably be £8/year not £18... For a playback app, that does seem pretty expensive. I know it's in active development... but it does seem to be expensive to me. It's why I signed up for the month just to check it out.
