Anyone have Plusnet full fibre?

Gewber

Newbie
Openreach are laying cables on my street so I’m hoping I might be able to give Virgin the middle finger when my contract runs out. Plusnet seem to be one of the more affordable providers and I’m wondering if anyone here is with them and what they’ve been like?

Thanks

Vodafone are good. Using there full fibre.

Had problems years ago. But tried again

If you go with them and there offering there new router with the 900 mb speeds.

Don't fall for it. Go for the 900mb speeds but not with there new router.

It's £36 a month for 900mb without the router

And I'm sure it's £50 + with the router

Look on eBay for there latest router and buy one.

I found one for £30 or £40 and it worked ok.

Get 1gbs speeds and WiFi 6e without paying extra a month for it

They have sent me one of these power hubs with no charge.
Is it the same one and is it any good?

I currently use an Asus router with VM hub in modem mode. Can I do the same with the Vodaphone thing or do they force you to use their equipment only?

I am on plusnet, but found that the plusnet hub isn't the greatest, so if you go for it I would recommend getting your own router and modem. I got a mesh system and it works well with plusnet

Have just told VM to get lost, will be switching to YouFibre. Managed to get static IP and 1Gig download and upload for £34.99 a month. I'm sure the price will be going up pretty sharply after the introductory offer, but the deal was too good to say no to. I'll be using a third party wifi mesh rather than whatever they give me.

I have just go with CityFibre through Vodafone and seems decent so far.

The hub doesn’t have a modem mode, you have to buy a 3rd party one in addition to the router?
