5G router iptv

I'm in an area that a 5g router is my best option for running my iptv. ive just moved here after being with Virgin for years. cant get broadband now.
So ive taken out a ee sim unlimited contract as iptv ran fine of my phone with good 5g reception. bought a TPlink Archer nx200 router. everything works fine except for iptv. can stream nextflix etc no problem. can load up the iptv and log in. can update channels. just nothing will run. can take out sim and put it in my phone which im doing now and its fine so its a setting or something on the hub. Ive read to turn on iptv in the settings but that option just isnt there. Has anyone had this problem ?

It’s not ee blocking the service, the same sim works fine in my phone, just not from the router . Unless I’m missing something.

It was just a suggestion to see if it works. Does the app on your phone play IPTV , when connected to the router by WiFi?

Just to rule out an issue with the app on another device.

Deffo try change the DNS settings on the router.

Sometimes keep trying different things to narrow the fault down if the answer.

I think you just gotta do something to the settings so it works with EE.

Is there any firmware updates available? Worth checking on the router, in settings somewhere probably
Maybe this

To disable IPv6 on your TP-Link Archer NX200, log into the router's web interface, go to "Advanced" > "Network" > "Internet," and change the PDP Type to "IPv4 only" or create a new profile with that setting.

PDP is greyed out and won’t let me change it.
Above it is a drop down box with profile name. EE Internet(default).
No other options.
