Mag boxes use to be ok, they used a " stalker " software on their box, but not sure if they are still using that system r not m8, i personally think its an out dated system, but, each to their own m8

This model 555 is Google Tv certified/Android box, not the Linux they used to be. I think that except the stalker software you can download every app you want to watch iptv. But i'd rather need some professional opinion if someone had used the box.

Simple use a genuine android box rather than the stalker option.

Google are currently giving you 25% off devices if you have a code from Totum,BLC or studentbeans.
Not sure what other devices qualify but i picked up the streamer for £75.

Hi. I have a Mag555 box. It's quite powerful and fast. Infomir has their own app called Magic Launcher which has same interface as their linux boxes. Very much like but short of stb emulator. This Launcher is very good if the server is set up on their Ministra platform. Does give streaming issues if the server has been modded to run XCIPTV. It's new and has initial teething issues. In Linux magboxes, it was no different. If server was not set up on Ministra Platform, linux magbox will not play. As far as other apps concerned, can be easily downloaded from Play Store and works very well. In short you are not stuck to Magic Launcher and stream through other apps.
Magboxes have quality which make them last for many years. Some are still happy with their 10yrs old box.

I think the chipset on this box is approaching 10 years old and only 2 gig of ram for £95

It may well be capable but at £95 i think it is overpriced.

Which box are you referring to? Mag555 has chipset 2yrs old. 10yr old boxes are not available in market now. Yes agree, magboxes are bit pricy compared to other boxes. But for streaming 2gb ram is generally sufficient unless you want it for gaming .
