Zgemma LC Question HrTunerProxy

I have the receiver set up (openatv 6.2) and it works great. I want to integrate the live tv into plex. I installed the hrtunerproxy plugin and it works however as the box only has one tuner therefore the only channel that plex can tune into is the one playing on the receiver.

The zgemma box is constantly playing a channel so is using up the tuner. Is there anyway to stop playback on the box (a homescreen or something) while the box is still running. this would free up the tuner to be used by plex.

If anyone stumbles on this i fixed the issue by changing the tunner settings to something random (so it doesnt load the channel), then changed it back to the correct settings. for the correct settings to kick in you have to change a channel but if you just leave it on a blank screen the hrtunerproxy has full access to the tuner. In other words it works perfectly with plex live tv and dvr.
