Zgemma i55 WLAN/Dongle issues

Recently received a basic Zgemma i55 (not plus)

I bought a wifi dongle (pictured)

I've tried it in both USB slots on back of box.
The blue light on the dongle comes on but when i go to set up/network/device settings on the box, WLAN ain't a option.
Do i need to do something else first or can anyone recommend a dongle that will work with the box.

Yeah its not telling us the chipset though.

Need to know that to see if it supported and if its just a case of installing the correct driver.

Open atv 6.2.

I'm going to update it once I'm connected

Installed the ipk.
Rebooted box but still no WLAN option

You know what i would do at this point, id flash the latest openatv via usb and see if that resolve the wifi issue.

Hi mate, I've flashed it with 7.4 but now when I go to install the ipk you provided yesterday it says 'media scanner not installed'

Any suggestions please?

Surprised the standard image is not picking up the stick.

That driver wont work on the newer PY3 images but if you go into plugins green button then maybe system plugins you may find the latest driver there.

I thought that required connecting to the boxes IP address, I don't have that cause I can't connect to the Internet.
