XE plugin for Open ATV 7.4

Afternoon all,
Just a quick question if I may.
Can anyone offer the correct version of the XE plugin for the aforementioned 7.4., as it seems that the one on the feeds doesn't work and gives the 'bad magic number' issue again....am going to dig out the lappy when I get in and see if I still have the other python versions kicking about, as this worked on 7.3...if anything's altered with this version then any info would be much appreciated.

Use openatv 7.3
7.4 was still in beta last time I checked, not worth bothering with if things don't work with it, 7.3 is stable

Cheers for the reply... yeah it's a strange one, but since I posted I'm fully making the most out of the multiboot function and am still using 7.3 as before....that said, 7.4 is out of beta now and seems to be running okay for the most part, so will keep an eye and see what gives...

...I did initially have this issue when I switched from 7.2 to 7.3 but managed to get the correct python version needed for that particular image. This time around I've tried using scripts via PuTTY and also ftp'd the ipk file with FileZilla...to no avail. Will let you know if anything crops up...and do likewise if you have any results.
 
There was a post a day or so ago in the willobuild thread with a script for python 3.12. try it. If that script doesn't work, someone will have to report the issue to xe team.

Be aware that the ipk had same version number even though they were for different python versions.

Yes always seem to be an issue when images change and you have to hunt around for the right ipk and ftp it. I've moved away from XE now but im sure it will get sorted eventually as usual.

...and me pal, I'm starting to get the right hump with XE of late too...what's more, there are other methods that are just so much better and have the faff factor removed....I've almost convinced myself overnight!!! 🙄

....ta for the heads-up , I will have a look when I get chance and give it a whirl...I did notice the version number from my previous escapade , and I greatly appreciate the reminder as it is very easy to repeat these processes unnecessarily! Thank you (y)

Agreed BMX has many great options including to create just the bouquets you want and not the ones you will never use. !!
X Klass is another good plugin option which works great for VOD Series and catchup services.

Not heard of x class maybe I'll have a look. I have been using xstreamity for Vod and catchup.
