XE-Catchup and VOD issue

I have a zgemma h2h running on wooshbuild v7. Have IPTV through xtream editor which also has VOD and Catchup.

When on VOD or Catchup and i try to pause or fast forward it always crashes showing a blue screen is there any fix or any configuration need doing.

Your help will be really appreciated guys. Thanks.
 
ON vu solo2 and os mini and none of mine pause or ff,but they dont crash,i just get a red x at top corner basically saying not available,but my lines are single use only none multi so dont know if makes a difference!!
 
yes i also get a x in top corner when pressing the buttons before it ends up crashing.

I also have a single line for the IPTV, but i dont think that should affect it as VOD is not using the IPTV line, it is just playing like a online media stream.
 
What image are you using? Seekbar had a few changes over the year so maybe you need to update/flash latest image to update core files. Also some are having skin issues have you tried using default skin?

Installing WooshBuild Infinity will fix this for you, it also update your openATV and box software at the same time.

The alternative option is to copy a file from the skin folder to another location

change skyNEW to skyWB in the command. Flashing Infinity is a better option though.

regards the fresh install of the wooshbuild infinity.

i understand going on to the openATV and then selecting Zgemma as i have a zgemma box.

when i put the file in usb and into the box and then at the point where to select the video output. Would i then need to have WebIF installed on my laptop? and how would it be connect to the box?

I havent used WebIF before, so just checking what i need to do before i do the fresh install.

Click the link in my signature and use the support thread if you get stuck. One tip though, if you are already running openATV on your box you can just flash using the remote and don't need the USB stick to do it.

It is easier than you think.
 
Simply Launch and DO - Green "import Bouquets" & Blue "Import EPG" - SAVE

If you can check the time-shift settings on your Box and make sure it is pointing to the time-shift folder on your storage device. You can then Pause and Rewind etc on IPTV Live Channels
Make sure the Settings on the Extreme Editor APP are set to DVB via the "Service Type", Just change from IPTV if it is set to that, change to DVB then Re-Import the Bouquets, SAVE.
If you are not bothered about the pause and Rewind option, Just leave it as IPTV Option rather than DVB and then Import the Bouquets Again. If you change it, you need to Re-Import the Bouquets each time you change the Service Type

Seen the support thread and understood i can do it using the remote on the wooshbuild v7 online update. So when i press online update it will change from wooshbuild v7 to wooshbuild infinity?

UPDATE: I flashed the box with wooshbuild infinity but still having the same problem i am unable to pause, fast forward, rewind on any catchup or vod movie. the only way i am able to do it by pressing the help button and then either press pause or what ever function i would like to do, but cant do it from the remote using the fast forward or pause buttons. i have tried skyskinNEW and MatrixHD both the same. Any help guys?

As far as I know this is the only way you can pause the vod on a enigma 2 box without the use of a dedicated plugin.
 
openATV 6.2 allows you to pause, rewind and fast forward VOD content using the pause button and long hold of the right button to rewind / fast forwards

openATV 6.1 needs to be done by pressing the help button on the remote and selecting them from there.
 
When i updated using the online update from wooshbuild v7 i didnt have an option to select OpenATV 6.2 i only had option for OpenATV 6.0 and 6.1?

If you press the blue button while in the flash online screen, the version 6.1 will change to 6.2 and show the list of 6.2 versions available.

Tried these solutions, but no joy. Any other tips?
Running OpenATV 6.2 with Wooshbuild Infinity and the SkyWB skin
