intresting discussion who would fight for this country? only asking cos just watched a video where 10 young people were asked and everyone of them came up with an excuse then they asked a 70 year old and have a guess what he said?
 
It's an interesting question this because I don't think even for myself I could say I definitely would until I was in some sort of position that required it. For example another country invaded. Would I pick up arms? Quite possible but without that actually happening and it only being theoretical I can't say for definite.
 
well it comes to something when a 70 year old says yes he would be there and that is the reason why we are here today what this country needs to do is get all the murderes rapists pedos druggies and dealers and all these so called gangsters who pulls a knife and stabs to death young kids and step up stop and search and all those carrying a knife bang them in there also

As for the 70-year-old, it’s not surprising he said yes. He grew up in a different era, possibly with different values.

My guess is that he asked them to repeat the question at least twice, wet himself and then went to Wetherspoons for a swift half before getting the bus home.

I would not defend a government that created all the problems you mentioned. They are the internal invaders who treat you as fodder and policy's killed your family and friends. Patriotism is dedication to a country, not a woke politician. It would somehow be comical watching them politicians, running for their lives as they are no longer safe. lol

The point is , you would be fighting for your family and your way of life if another country declared war or invaded us. Nothing political about that at all.
 
if it was genuinely for my family then yes, as long as all sections of society are doing the same I don't have an issue.
if I rocked up and the entire regiment looked like me then I'd be having issues, I have a sneaky feeling that some sections of society would not be over represented though.

It is political. The question is not simple to answer. My answer is no, for many reasons. When all is said and done, you would still have been manipulated into doing something for a " country ".
The problem is, we , as a species are so primitive. Even though everyone thinks we are intelligent. We are not !!
And if anyone thinks governments and monarchy's cannot be overthrown, think again. We the people are they key !! But your all to shit scared about losing a job . I'd be fucked with my health conditions either way !! The only way to change modern society and thinking is either to stop working or nuclear war, a serious one. Then and only then will the " people " change and a new collective thinking come about. The evolution in technology etc is not true evolution, it comes from us !!

All while sat on loo !!

Government and monarchy's are the problem.
 
Governments represent the country. When the government doesn't care about you or your family and friends, why would you defend and support them. They will jail you for not giving your life for them and their family's. Hell they will jail you for making a post on social media. My view is they can fight for themselves and their family's and stolen wealth. They gave up our country without our permission, and you have zero say in the matter or direction its going. Rigged elections are the problem with immigration fuelling the votes, the elite get what ever they want, and do what ever they want, to you and your family. Why would I protect them. The U.K. is so screwed with its gov.
 
If you asked me would I fight to "defend" this country the answer is 100% yes.

If you asked me would I fight to defend Ukraine or any other countries borders
I'd say

Go and get f**kin stuffed is my answer
