That just happens to be the last channel entry that was written to the settings file then.

When the box crashes it doesn't have time to write the currently selected channel to settings before it reboots.
Have you turned opentv epg off?

Send me the crash log if it crashes again.
 
Looks like disabling "opentv epg downloader" may have done the trick , rebooted box and it opened the las channel not the one it kept returning to, will monitor it and thanks again.
 
OK , had a crash , how do I get the log file from the box please ?
Sorry I see where it says it is stored , should be OK with filezilla.

you have jedimaker installed but have you installed epgimporter there was update from jedimaker 6.30 to 6.31

Removed the crash on delete bouquets if epg importer isn't installed.
Probably only effects very few users of this plugin.

And have you selected your iptv provider in epgimporter seem to me like you are also selecting wrong screens just to get epg.
edit just read back you did select your iptv source but if they have no epg_id referencies then you will not get epg.
Also in epgimporter select rytec uk xmltv sources. or post screenshots of you epgimporter settings. Save the guessing game

Thanks for repy , I have play list providers with a green tick in epg-importer. Actually I just looked and I had a couple of rytec ujk sources ticked , so I have unticked them , pressed save and yellow and yellow for a manual scan. It returned 0 but epg is already populated so will worry about that later.

Sorry just seen the edited part of your post. Do I need to enable any rytec sources if I am only using IPTV ? Is this related to the "crashes" ? Box crashed at 8.15 , 8.45 , 9.15 , and 9.45.

yes enable uk rytec souces . as for box crashing then something else is running . personally i would try and flash another slot with just normal vix and just add plugind needed i,e jedimaker and epgimporter and see how you get on if that works.
 
Hi Guys, Upgraded from a Zg H2H to an Octogon SF8008, I'm wanting to install Willobuild on another partition, understand it can be done via Putty, I'm using an HDD as my storage device, already formatted as it was used on the ZG box, is this OK to use, or a I better using a flash drive then reinstating the HDD, the HDD is used as it has programmes which the kids watch.
