WilloBuild WilloBuild OpenViX 6.6 Series

I've updated VPN Manager to a version that works.

For some reason, uninstalling Jedi doesn't seem to delete the folder in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/ (this may be fixed on the latest version, I haven't tried it yet).
It also doesn't delete the user files in /etc/enigma2/ (this is by design, to retain user preferences).

I have put the latest Jedi in the feeds (6.29.20230830) and it works fine on a fresh flash.

If you're just wanting to update, I would uninstall from the plugin menu, delete the above mentioned folders and then install again from the feeds.

Hi i have Zgemma H7c using open atv 6.5 with willowbuild installed ,and using the plugin jedi maker stream for my IPTV provider .
Is there a way to install picons for iptv channels .
Not sure where to look managed to sort out picons for freesat not foe iptv thanks
Picons from the feeds will only work if the channel name matches the name of the genuine channel.
Your provider may provide picons if not.

Personally I edit my own bouquets in notepad++ so that I pull in Sky EPG and picons.

that is because using ipk from said sources if downloaded from feeds then no problem with files left over.

This only applies to the SNPicons. If your IPTV provider uses real service references, then using an SRPicon set will work.

The OpenVix picon feeds are updated as per their policy.

The OE-A picon feeds that current ATV images uses, scrape from openpicons.com at midnight. Openpicons build every day there is a change Ocram/Hotio's picon project. You can get the OE-A picon feeds from a current ATV image or download the openpicons feeds from
Code:
openpicons.com

Using this script
Code:
wget https://feed.openpicons.com/install.sh -O /tmp/openpicons.sh; sh /tmp/openpicons.sh; rm -f /tmp/openpicons.sh;

Setting up an SF8008 with Wilobuild. IPTV only , looking at the attached screenshot , under the 3 headings on the right , should I have descriptive text or is that epg as good as it gets ?
Trying a manual scan in epg-emporter (I have auto imprt epg enabled ), I see my iptv source has a green tick but the scan returns 0 results. Also there's no confirmation on the screen that an auto scan was carried out this morning ?

Thanks , I didn't think it was the build , thought I might have a setting wrong. Not sure if you are familiar with the SF8008 Willo , there's a "playlist" button , when I press it I get , see pic below. I thought it might have given me the list of bouquets ? unnamed.jpg

Am trying to remove the playlist/s that I have added in jedimakerxtream , so that I can start again and try to get epg fully listed . Have deleted playlists in jedi and removed playlists.txt in media/hdd/movie using filezilla. channels still working and pressing yellow bouquets are still there. Do I need to re install build or is there somewhere I can delete cache ?
EDIT: think I can do it using willowbuild bouquet manager.

Playlists.txt lives in etc/enigma2/jediplaylists folder, you need to delete it from there in order to start afresh

I have a couple of questions , would appreciate some advice please. Using vix/willowbuild/slyk skin on SF8008. Watching scotland game , the box crashed 3 times , the short reboot with the standard message " your device has encountered a problem and needs to reboot". It did the same 3 or 4 times last night. Also if I press green for plugins and then press green for install plugins , it crashes. After rebooting itself , if repeat this , it will open the plugin list.
When the box reboots , it always defaults to a particular channel . I have 2 playlists , one main and one back up. When it reboots , it goes to SSNews on the back up playlist. So I have to press yellow and scroll up bouquet list to the main channels and retrieve the one I was watching when the box crashed. Been looking for a setting that can designate the box to reboot to the last channel being played ?

When the box reboots press the down (under OK) arrow and highlight the current channel.
Press MENU and make sure that channel isn't set as startup service.
It is likely that the crash has prevented E2 from writing the last service to the settings file.

I would also disable OpenTV EPG Downloader if you aren't using satellite services.
MENU > SETUP > EPG > OPENTV EPG DOWNLOADER.

Failing that, post a crash log with any sensitive details removed. (media/hdd/logs/)
