ignoring the newroot folder issue, the multiboot partition value error is the one that I would look at first, i've not got a multiboot box anymore so can't check but not sure why you are getting that error, you didn't enter a number, delete and then enter another number or anything did you?

Morning all I'm relatively new at flashing boxes, my question is, can Willobuild be setup on an SF8008 box and also be set for using iptv, cheers.

do you have blank formatted usb in stb or initialised usb as hard drive the file needs to unpack to drive

it needs to be inittialised on the box, not sure where to do that on vix sorry

it does not need to be empty but that would be better is you system still booting at the moment ? if boot system and intitilase usb.

Hold on I will boot into VIX and find out where to intialise.

on VIX it is Menu\ Setup\ Storage\ Initialize Devices.

Also if usb port at back you should put usb there because once intitalized you will not be removing it again unless something goes wrong .

I actually installed willobuild yesterday to test something out on VIX on zgemma h9 combo I installed to second partition all went well flashed ok but at the end it says.

Successfully flashed rootfs! Rebooting in 3 seconds...

It does not reboot so you need I just entered reboot into putty rebooted machine into multiboot menu to run VIX

There's menu, setup but no storage, will look at it after lunch.

I have the flashed files on the usb for openvix that's all.
