Check the file system in MENU > SETUP > VIX > MOUNT MANAGER
It should be mounted as /media/hdd and formatted as Ext4 R/W for timeshift to work.

I would check that the providers are set up correctly in AutoBouquetsMaker and then rescan.
 
Yep after I posted I went and checked that very thing. Annoyingly it's shown as mounted as /media/hdd and formatted as EXT4 R/W!!! I'll do your second suggestion the next chance I get , thanks.
 
Gui Settings, Sort options, select "user"
Blue button should then allow you to sort them around. Willow will post more details.

I have never needed to decrease size of picons in service list. What skin are you using?

Thank you @Abu Baniaz . I am using Kidda C Slyk Q and his response on this is the channel list picon size setting resides in enigma 2 not in Skin. OpenATV 6.4 does have that option available under channel list settings
Would be great if we can have similar one in openvix too

Got the menu sorted with instructions given by Abu B i.e.
Menu>setup>User interface>Settings> Sort menu screens as user defined hidden
then pressing blue button on any menu we want to sort and then I had to figure the below options to sort or hide i.e.
highlighting the menu item and moving it up or down with <prev or next> keys on remote
to hide an item- highlight the item and press 'Yellow' button on remote to hide or unhide
Then press green button to save.
Done!
 
Well done for VIX guys , one of the most annoying things for me on openatv cannot manually sort menu items there is old menusort plugin but does not work on all boxes.
 
Just set a new password in MENU > SETUP > NETWORK > PASSWORDS and make sure you save it by pressing the green button.
Make sure the connection type and port is as below:

Hi Not sure if this in the right thread so delete is in the wrong place, I have just installed Willobuild on my Zgemma H7S and am trying to add Xtream Editor, so Iv'e FTP'd the ipk file to the tmp folder on my box but when I try and install it I get a error saying cannot install package, any idea what the issue could be?

It won't install if it's already installed, check in plugins list that an older version isn't already installed.
Not sure on Vix but in Atv if you go to plugins menu and click red it will show which plugins are removable
