WIfi connection to MIFI 3g unit

Hi All.
I am trying to get my skybox f3 to work via a usb wifi connection and then trying to connect either via my iphone hotspot or my MIFI 3g router.

The f3 finds both the hotspot or the MIFI and accepts the passwords for either but pictures still remain scrambled?

It works fine by cable or wifi connection to my home BT router.


I am trying to get it to work on a narrowboat for a friend. The 3G connection is good and tinternet is pretty fast.

Any thoughts at all.

Openbox via wifi

Hi, I had the same problem with no BT connection.
I managed to get it to work using my phone to make the hotspot and connected to my laptop.
I then installed Connectify Hotspot and routed the connect through the laptop and connected my openbox with a lan cable.

I hope this makes sense to you.

There is another program called MyWifiRouter which looks even better than Connectify, but I haven't tried that one yet.
