Any reas9n why sky have only blocked a few channels. They could easily block the whole lot now if they wanted to.

As this affected cable as of yet or just sky was trying to weigh up if worth renewing by cccam or move to a cable one as my internet is virgin cable

You tell us why - If you know that they could easily block the whole lot now if they wanted to then I'm assuming you have coding / high level encryption experience?

The cable side is still fine for now.

I'm told by my provider the Sly have merged some HD and SD channels which means they have gone offline.

His question was he wanted to know if cable was going to be affected or just sky as he was deb steating renewing his Ccam a/c.
Seemed a civil polite question to ask. But then not everyone is civil or polite.!
On a personal note I have gone back to Sky before the avalanche occurs, said my goodbyes to Woosh yesterday. Will miss the banter but not wiseguys like

Ok, goodnight.no one knows what the future holds. I know it's costing me 40 quid a month but I'm kinda glad to see footie in HD or ultra. I got a good 5 years out of it, learned a bit, and if our guys get on top of it I could be back. No ss4 is a real bummer for me as I could watch golf 24/7

You can watch the golf in HD at 19E, Also the golf channel is on Hotbird 13E in HD.
