What box's use remote to input line

Looking for a dual or triple tuner box which can input line by remote as no PC in the house for any FTP or copying files to USB.
would like to learn about lines, for example does one line run two tuners in a box ( for recording)

Afraid wateva box you buy you will require a laptop at some point mate you could buy a openbox install the latest firmware (laptop) then you can update channels and firmware from box youcan also put your lines in with remote these are basic boxes but do what required with these you are unable to watch one channel and record another.

Then we come to enigma boxes zgemma etc these do alot more but you will 100% be requiring a laptop as you will want to play haha
