Satellite Webif lost control.

I was doing something on laptop with webif when something changed and lost control of functions and pressing virtual buttons not working.

Downstairs at box i lost all sat channels all greyed out and box was not recording

Box was locked on that IEPG data button in RED and no idea why or what happened to do that Reboot fixed the issue as nothing i could do to stop it.

Thought i could ask.

One of the devices probably lost network connection

If it lost connection i would not be able to login on desktop or laptop which i could.
It was the IEPG all in red locked me out on sat as never had that happen.
Never ran timeshift but could that lock you out of sat channels as recording the IEPG data?

Okay back on Webif again and on desktop pc and still having issues getting control of virtual remote ?
I tried this yesterday on pc and the same , on Laptop straight in and no issues.

Tried Xtrend 8000 and straight in with rolling picture

The remote is showing on the left of both pictures, not sure what problem you are having?

On the pic with the woman in bed laughing at a newspaper, you have 'capture screenshot' selected but on the other it is not selected

Picture with woman on bed was on another box Xtrend 8000 and from Desktop pc + i see refresh controls under the picture.

H7s virtual buttons i have lost many controls to view the same content but on my Desktop where the original issue started ??

Mind is going in circles as H7s is working and i can log into it on laptop via wifi and have control via Webif.

This is the picture on H7s i get from laptop. When i press the OK button on virtual remote i get a channel playing .

Does not do this from DESKTOP when connected to H7s.

The other one above it isn't ticked.

Will try that later when upstairs on Desktop but i think i was pressing many buttons and nothing happened but i can miss whats in front of my eyes

you do not press ok you press other buttons perhaps menu , epg , or what ever

When i log into box expand virtual remote and hit the slider from red to green i have always pressed the ok and current channel opens and shown and then i get control of box.
I have always got it working that way on all my boxes.

The screenshot button just shows what's showing on screen on the box.
If its not enabled or ticked, you just get the bland description and text.
You never lost access...menus etc still work normally.
You obviously had full access because webif was showing what was on now/next which proved connectivity, it was just that screen grab was disabled.
