Vu Duo - Help Getting PPV Boxing To Work

Hi guys,
I am new to this site and would be really grateful if you can help.
I have a Vu Duo with a cable tuner and have a VM line, all the movie channels and sly sports channels , etc are working, but I am unable to watch the Sky Sports Box Office Channel. For example yesterday was the Dillian VS Chisora fight, and I can see the channel in all channels but it doesn't show anything.

This has been bugging me for a longtime now and I would be really grateful if someone can advise how I can watch this when the next PPV event is on?

just use the search box at the top of this page, type boxing and then wade through the 5000 posts about no one on cable being able to watch that fight
it's the first one on sky boxoffice not to clear by the way
 
Hi - Someones just informed me about this.
My issue is that it has never worked for me since I have had my VM line. Even prior to this.
So just wanted some guidance if anyone knows the process of getting this setup on a Vu Duo or if it has worked for anyone in the past, so that hopefully in the future provided Sky BoxOffice does clear than I will be able to watch it.
 
Yes there confirmed it is. I just someone to help me who has a vu duo box or knows how to get it to work on a vu duo box. I'm not sure if there's a specific channel and if so what is the channel called as skysports box office has never worked for me even previously? Or if there's a way of getting into the red button interactive services and watching through there .

Ive rescanned channels etc but still doesn't work.

Basically just want someone to tell me how there have got it to show on a vu duo box in the past?
 
how long have you had the sub?
there's never anything showing on the channel until a fight is scheduled, did you have it when the last fight was on a few weeks ago?
if the channel is there, ch 1000, bt nothing ever shows, this is nothing to do with the box, it's the provider
 
Vu duo is twin sat tuner box unless you added a usb stick tuner.
Vu duo2 can be your box with cable tuner.
Might the channel have moved tp or you can see previews?
 
Its coming up to a year I've had the subscription.

I'm a big boxing fan and always been interested in watching PPV events but never works. I've been consistently checking before the main boxing event and also during the fight is taking place, I can see Skysports box office channel but it doesn't play anything . Ive been trying for many previous fights including Anthony Joshua ones and all other PPV events.

Yes I've added a usb cable tuner to my box and as previously mentioned all channels work apart from the SkySpoSkyBox Office or even ITV Box office so basically can't watch any of the PPV fights .

Can you please advise in regards to the red button bouquet? Did you have to seperatley configure this?

Also I'm using OpenPLI image. Not sure if this has any affect. Has it worked for anyone on Vu Duo with OpenPLI Image?
 
Go into AutoBouquetsMaker and make sure that you enable red button in VM providers. That will give you a bouquet with all the ppv in it.
 
Willo if this works you are a absolute genius.

Is it possible you can instruct me step by step how to enable the red button in AutoBoquetMaker?
 
Are you sure you haven't already got the red button bouquet? It should be there by default.

Check that it's not been hidden in the 'hide sections' of ABM
 
Sorry buddy mind my ignorance but what's a ABM?

I can't see the red bouquet section anywhere.

Is it possible you can give me simple instructions that I can check?

Press the down direction key under ok and then blue button.
It should show a list of bouquets and red button should be one of them in the Virgin section
 
Reading a post from elsewhere when providers said they had it working but users could not view,but the odd person did so maybe its not your setup that failed?
 
Okies guys. Ive checked my boquets and there's no red button bouquet . As far as I remember I manually setup all my boquets and added relevent channels in each boquet. Please can you advise step by step how to enable red button in AutoBoquetMaker?

Also step by step how to check hide section of ABM to see it's not hidden?

I don't even think ivI' got a auto boquet maker on this box as I always manually scan channels when there stop working. And always manually add channels to boquets I've created .

whether the channel is in red button bouquet or not is irrelevant, you've got the channel and it's never worked, this means it's your provider, most other cable viewers have had all previous fights, it was only last night's didn't show
