VOD issue on Smart IPTV

Hi, I use smart iptv on my samsung smart tv and I have an issue with vod no playing right, it keeps jumping forward all the time and is unwatchable, live tv is fine and plays very well, I have come acroos this issue on other forums but with no solution and was wondering if anyone on here might have a fix.
 
On my mates its down to the file size , his smart tv can't handle the 15 folders so can only use iptv minus the vod maybe a memory stick might work .

Sorry I dont understand what you are saying, I use smart iptv app with a m3u file, I checked with my supplier and he says all is ok at his end. and Ive come across this issue on other forums and it always seems to be with samsung tv's

ok I will check that later when i get home. I'm not sure if its the app or the tv, does anyone know of any other iptv apps that I could try out. preferrably free or with a trial period at least. that I can download to a samsung smart tv

Not used it myself but on the Samsung store you can download the STB Emulator app which I understand has a very similar appearance and functions to a Mag Box. It's free to test (7 days) then something like £25 for a full licence. If you search the forum its been mentioned a u Dr of times.

what model is your Samsung smart tv bud

After you spent £25 on that, you may as well have ordered a mag box, as you've almost paid half of it there!!!
 
change the buffer size in settings to auto, if that doesn't work, try large, The smart app works for your tv

its definitely something to do with the app, as I tried my zgemma on this tv with a line from the same supplier and vod works fine

yeah ok, I am going to delete app and reinstall and reset my playlist on siptv also is it possible for me to edit the m3u file that my supplier gave me, there is way too much stuff on it that I dont need. Is it just a case of opening the file in notepad and deleting what I dont want and then uploading it on siptv as a local file. also Ive noticed that the epg is not complete, some channels have epg info and some dont, is that down to my supplier or could it be another issue with the siptv app.
 
For all of what you want to do it just takes a little work... A good supplier would have done this for you already and given you the m3u file link as well...

Anyway, go to http://siptv.eu/converter/, and paste the link to your m3u file in the External playlist section...

Then, it will give you a file called Converted.txt. Edit this file, and you will see lines like below:

You can delete the channels you don't want from here. Anything that has an ext at the beginning of the line means that there's no EPG data for it. But you can add EPG data by using the codes here http://siptv.eu/codes/

hi guys have same problems with my lg smart tv plays all the channels
but wont play vod or series

My Samsung smart tv gave me the same problem, I couldn't get it to work on the smart iptv app running directly from the tv so I got a firestick and the smart iptv app works perfectly on the firestick and I even find that the live channels dont freeze or buffer as much when playing from the firetick and vod is perfect, if you are going to use a firestick just email siptv and tell them your tv is faulty and you want to transfer the siptv app to another tv and then give them the mac address of the firestick, I did that and they transferred it no problem, saved me a fiver.
