Virgin media second stream box

Anybody tried to add a second stream box to there virgin media set up. I know they won't allow you to have a second one. Wondering if I picked up one from say market place, would it work. Or would the mac need to be activated by vm. Cheers

Only works with the account/network it's allocated to. I have tried my stream box at brothers house won't work

Cheers mate, does your brother have a stream account. Just wondering if stream was already allocated to the house. Would a second box work then. As long as only 1 live at a time. Would be handy not to have to move it up and down. Thanks
