The other thread on UK Satellite still working has run its course, it is going round in circles.
Until the C/S scheme becomes more widespread, the only conversation should be around the Viark type boxes, where to buy them, how they work, what the quality is like, etc.

All discussion in here please.

If it is not against forum rules, we can list all the boxes but not list the server, that information can be found on search engine.

List all the boxes to your hearts content mate, as you say, dont mention server names.

There was a post with a list of all the boxes, but I hadn't the time or inclination last night to find it, its probably the reason I called the thread VIARK TYPE BOXES

From my understanding there are some servers that don’t clear 28.2e on these viark boxes. Are we allowed to ask/write 28.2 compatible for each box?

Most of these boxes people will not of heard of, its hard enough getting hold of the viark boxes never mind the rest. I bet they are openly available in north africa. :)

Some are available on Amazon eu and UK, flebay, marketplace of faceless book, YouTube if you understand some foreign language, some independent UK domain registered websites and you can buy them in some countries when we are allowed to go on holidays.
I now have viark sat 4k and Starsat box and I think if these servers were available on E2 boxes, I won’t buy these boxes and stick to E2 boxes.

Good job @wheelo to close the other thread and consolidate the useful info here.

It is worth mentioning some boxes have longer Server subscription than others. I think 3 years on Viark and 15 months mentioned for another box.

To my knowledge its only the viark will run 28e HD premium channels

I have no knowledge of these viark type boxes other than what i read. Do these other listed boxes supported by gshare and forever work in the same way as the viark then and just update the firmware to get the encrypted channels mathew ?

yes they have a different UI but the basics are the same, forever and gshare are more european based and funcam is more african based,

Gotcha so supported by the same DD team who do the encryption side of it. Is it only the viark that work for 28e uk or will any of the listed boxes open up all satellites

any reciever that supports forever, gshare or funcam will clear sky uk

they just copy other peoples post, he was going on about 0963 being a uk card and 0961 being an irish card. you can get a 0963 in uk and irish and 0961 in uk and irish and hell for the sake of it you can get a 0960 in uk and in irish too. 0961 is the old blue card they have turned that stream off years ago.
 
I looked at video on youtube guy was updating viark box but the file list on the software has about 40 odd boxes GTMedia ones also I only noticed that name because I have one of their sat meters
