V8S Openbox Virgin Cable

Hi can anyone advise if the V8s Open box will work from virgin cable?

I used the box from sky internet but wanted to check if I change to virgin will I get the channels back again?

V8s is not compatible with cable in any form--only box in openbox range that can be used for vm is the Freesat V8 Golden.
