Hi guys, simple question what is the latest firmware for v8s original not cloned box. Is it the 2016 firmware or even the 2017 one on openbox.cc or is it the 30/09/15 firmware that is showing on skybox.cc. I currently have 10/08/15 firmware on one box, but the box also has June 2016 in the upgrade by network options.
I have also a box upstairs with 30/09/15 and that don't have the option to upgrade to 2016 firmware. Only 2015 firmware in the upgrade by network menu.

If it is original box goto eopenbox.co.UK tools section and download the latest firmware which will enable you to upgrade by the network

Hi, it looks like the box upstairs is an original box & the other one is a clone, the box upstairs should have the date 03.05.2017 on the upgrade by network UK Channel list, if the other one is different then it's probably a clone, as you have the "upgrade by network" you don't need to upgrade the firmware.

Funny thing is m8 I asked the owner of the eopenbox website if his firmware is the latest as there is 2016 firmware knocking around on openbox.cc he told me he is the owner of both websites. And that is the latest updates 2016 etc, I then asked why is he knocking out 2 different firmwares. His replys did not make any sense to me. He was saying that he had special firmware made up that got leaked that enabled folk to apply this firmware so they could do a upgrade by network. I will post the email conversations for you all to see.

You keep saying openbox.cc - do you mean the http://www.openbox.cm website, if so this is for cloned boxes, the other 2 websites are for the original boxes.
