V5 Openbox keeps resetting

Am I right to assume my box is dead if it keeps resetting itself? I get the main start screen come up, but then it just goes blank, the display screen on the box flashes through all the channels and the main start screen comes up and so on and so on.....
Is it fixable please?

Switch your openbox off discount all your cables Then power the box up with out your cables to see what happens

If it's the same as mine it only reset when i put the lnb cable into the back so it kept resetting almost like a faulty wire connection all other ports were fine i threw it away and got the v8s on eBay £22 brand new just re add your line to the v8s if you get one

If you switch back on and your still getting channels it could be a faulty cable why not try to eliminate the fault before you spend money on a new box

I had a v8 that kept rebooting. I was about to right it off, but. I had the Cccam.cfg file saved to the USB memory stick in the box. I removed the stick and inserted it into another V8s, that box to rebooted itself. That left one cause. A faulty USB stick caused them to "short" and reboot.

Both V8s are running fine.

Could be faulty power adapter or short in the f connector process of elimation
