Using Original Sky EPG

Firstly i would like to thank the site for all the info as i have managed to update my firmware and epg from the infomation here.

Now having read the forum for a few weeks now i notice a lot of people want to use the original Sky EPG with their openbox/skybox and they are told it cant be done due to both boxes cannot use the lnb at the same time etc.

Well i am unsure how i have actually done it lol


but here is a picture of it working

My setup is fed via a labgear distribution/amp and i have pic in pic on my tv (i didnt know that til i just found it while i was trying to get the f5s into our bedroom

Which i still aint managed :damn:


I aint very technically minded but i will try to help if anyone has any questions

I should also add you cannot change channel from the sky side of the screen but you have the no of the channel which you just put into your f5s remote

Think what your looking at is rf2 output from original skybox ( do you have one in your living room?), feed by the distribution amp.
