unable to ftp

i have a new ab pulse 4 K box, i am unable to ftp anything i want to ftp a skin, using filezilla i get error "Insecure server, it does not support FTP over TLS", ? used other utilities , even dream box which connects green for ftp and telinet but does not show any selectable files in the ab box . i can connect via openwebif and telinet commands , any suggestion on what i am doing wrong or how to ftp , dont know how to do it via telinet . ta

You have not said which image you are using. You must set a password in the network menu on some images. On other images, they have a set password.

yes sorry i have reset the pass word on both willowbuild and open atv7.2. using root +password.

Try setting the password using the terminal console. Type "passwd", you won't see the cursor move.

thank you , not good on the old terminal :-), but did that used the old 0000 password , connected dreambox and its connected and now i can see the files on the box, so i can add a skin , much appriciated👍, and i do this for each image .
