C chips Newbie Nov 22, 2022 #1 Don't have axle stands to jack the car up but want to be able to turn the wheels back n forth while refilling the power steering fluid. Would a few pieces of thin metal do the job?

He doesn't mean turn the wheels as such, He means turn the steering, to bleed the power steering fluid through, . Don't see why not @chips ,

Ah yes I have some old laminate flooring in the cupboard and that will turn as the wheel turns, great idea, thanks.
