Hi

Ive been eyeing up the TM-5402 on ebay. The description says;

"Record up to 2 channels (on the same transponder) and playback a file at the same time via USB"

Does that mean i could record one channel and watch another? I did notice there is only one lnb feed on the rear so i'm sure.

You will be able to record something and also play a recording.
You may be able to record 2 things at the same time if they are transmitted on the same transponder.
I don't really know what channels are on which transponder but for example BBC1 and BBC2 might be and in that case you could record one and watch the other but you wouldn't be able to record BBC1 and watch Sky Movies at the same time.
I would go for 2 tuners.
 
Thanks mate. That's kind of what I was thinking. I'll need to rethink what other box to get. Zgemma h2s seems to be a common one people go for. I don't want to spend to much so might be what I eventually pick.

If you're on a budget the H2S is the one to go for.
If you can go an extra £20 I would get the Edision OS Mini with ViX support.
 
I found on world of satellite. Looks good. Think I might just go for it. Helps that it's got a 2 year warranty. Thanks for all your input.
