Struggling to find 'Main / Hidden Menu' on my new Openbox V5S

Hi guys.

Got the brand new Openbox V5S a couple of days ago & paid for my 12 month 'gift' complete very comprehensive instructions on what to do next.

But I can't get past stage 1!

I cant find the MAIN MENU!! I was told if I cant, then go straight to option 10 - this also doesnt exist anywhere.

Failing that, access the 'Hidden menu' via pressing 0000 or 6666 or 8888 or 2778.

I have tried it in a few plavces with no joy, but not entirely sure where to be pressing these numbers!

Any advice for a simpleton like me - it hurts having paid for it all, and not getting anything at the moment.

Much appreciated folks. (Keep it simple though!) Happy to add any screenshots of what I can see etc) - the radio channels work though :p

From memory - because I don't have one of these boxes in front of me right now...

Press Menu on your remote then left/right scroll until you see Network Local settings/click OK so that Network settings is highlighted on the right - then press 6666 or one of those other set of numbers.. and that hidden menu "Camds setup" should appear in the list below, and then the magic can begin....

I have one in front of me and you are correct Dan. And they are magic even with no HD..(He says through gritted teeth..!!)

If your not having any luck with what Dan and Ted have all ready mentioned above it may be down to the new box firmware as the new boxes don't have the cams preinstalled and you have to upgade the firmware to the latest version of the manufacturers website yourself, usually the person you got the box off should have done this for you hoping.

Thanks all! The '6666' code worked.

Just one final question, to save me starting a new thread.

How do I set a PIN CODE to lock certain channels. I'm trying but I have a feeling I need to enter a default PIN CODE to get things started but I dont know what that is. Thanks
